• What is the Annie Dog Monitor and why is it better than a regular pet monitor?
  The Dog Monitor is an application that helps you monitor your pet while you are away. The pet device is left with your pet in order to capture the audio and other devices are kept with the owner or anyone who is currently looking after the pet. And best of all? No special equipment needed apart from your phone or tablet!
• How am I alerted that my dog is awake?
  You will immediately see whether your dog is sleeping or awake. With a glance of the eye, green means quiet and orange noisy. The display will light up and you will hear the noise from the pet’s room.
• What devices and operating systems are supported?
  The Dog Monitor works seamlessly on operating system iOS 9.3 or later and is compatible with these devices listed below:

  • iPhone 5 or newer
  • iPhone 4S
  • iPod Touch 5
  • Annie Dog Monitor for Android is available and works seamlessly for devices on Android 4.4.

  Annie Pet Monitor for Android is available and works seamlessly for devices on Android 4.4.

• Is it possible to connect more devices at the same time?
  Yes, the Dog Monitor app supports multi-pet mode as well as multi-owner mode. The maximum number of pet units is 4, the number of owner unit is unlimited. Not only you or your partner can keep an eye on your pet. With the Annie Dog Monitor even grandparents or siblings can be in touch with your pet simultaneously.
• What is the Annie Dog Monitor data consumption?
  If it is possible, the Annie Dog Monitor app works via Wi-Fi. In cases when the application uses cellular networks (5G, 4G, 3G, LTE) the average data consumption oscillates around 20 MB per hour when the pet is noisy is and sound is sent.
• How far should the device be located from my pet?
  It is not necessary to place the pet device too close to your pet. Nowadays microphones are designed to receive audio even over a longer distance. So about 2 metres / 7 feet is OK.
• Does the Annie Dog Monitor work abroad?
  Sure, the Annie Dog Monitor works anywhere where Internet connection is available. When travelling abroad you can use either Wi-Fi or local cellular networks.
